Fun and Games (catching up)

I have been very bad at updating this (and I had been doing so good!!). I didn't realize it until I went to write about our great camping weekend and saw that I missed nearly 2 weeks of fun before that. I must say that Kayla and Joseph (aka... Josey Mosey, Baby Cakey, Josey Vominosey, Mosey.. and more) are having a great time together and are just the cutest brother and sister pair I have ever seen (I guess I am a tad partial). Here are some snapshots of the great summer fun we have been having.

Joseph's first swim... it was a little cold and he didn't like being out of daddy's arms (if you couldn't tell from the death look he is giving the float!)

Kayla had her first sleepover. Her cousin Sarah slept over. They insisted on sleeping on the floor so we brought the mattress from our camper into the house. It started out as just Kayla on the floor... then Sarah joined her around 1am... then I had to join them shortly after... No one is allowed to share this picture (ever), but I just had to post it since the way they are laying cracks me up. Somehow they managed to sleep great.. to be a kid again!

Kayla is getting much more comfortable and brave in the water.
