We took Kayla to her first Yankee game on Thursday.. they won so she is 1-0! We were supposed to bring Joseph too, but since the forecast called for very high temps and sun he stayed home and spent some time with Grandma after school. The game started out tough since Kayla was tired after staying awake the whole drive and it was very very hot in the sun. We took a walk around, she took a nap (yes a nap while Chris carried her and sat with her, thanks daddy!), and then she was good to go! She enjoyed seeing the other fans and the players. We even had a home run hit 5 rows back from us (unfortunately it was from the other team, but still exciting). It was a great day and I am glad to finally write a first for Kayla this year (Joseph usually gets all of the firsts :o) ).

I asked Kayla how she liked it when we got home and she said " Good, but it took a really long time to get there". I promised next time we would take the train part of the way... and she liked that idea.
