Saratoga - we took our annual trip to the track this year and Kayla loved it again. This year we enjoyed the morning breakfast and watched the horses work out. Kayla loved that since you are able to stand right up along the fence and the horses are not flying by quite as fast. She requested that next time we go that she be allowed to ride the horses.. so it looks like we may have a future jockey on our hands (except the fact that unless she really stops growing soon she will be way too tall). Kayla also appears to have some luck at betting.. since I let her pick horses in the first and 2nd races and they both won!! Too bad her dad didn't get the first bet in in time and the second one only paid out around $15, but it helped us have a nearly break even day and lots of fun :o)
Kayla and Chris watching the horses...Lake George - we also spent a day and night up at my Aunt and Uncle's camp on Lake George. Unfortunately they were having issues with their boat, but we had a great time swimming and relaxing! Kayla has become very brave in the water and will actually swim on her own with her life jacket and tube.
While summer was very busy and crazy for us it is sad that it is already over. Now count down to baby begins!!!
