The end of being 2

Sunday will be Kayla's 3rd birthday and the end of an era... the terrible 2's (or at least we hope so). I should actually say the "amazing" 2's. Over the past year Kayla has grown so much and become such a wonderful little girl. While she has her moments, as does any 2 year old, she is very caring and has a laugh that will make any situation better. I cannot imagine life without her. She is very excited to be a big sister and refers to the baby as "her baby". The other day she even offered to let the new baby have her Bear, she is going to be a great big sister.
We had a very busy week which included Kayla's first dentist appointment. She did great and as expected is a little behind on getting her teeth and still needs her last few molars. We also went to her cousin Johnny's soccer game which was a great time. Tomorrow is Kayla's party so we have been busy around the house and outside today. The great thing is that now that Kayla is older she can actually help with some things and seems very excited about her party!
