This past Tuesday was my 34 week ultrasound. The baby looks great and is already estimated to be 6lbs... with projections to be upper 8's low 9's if I go full term. So another big one if I make it to 40wks (Kayla was 8lbs 4.8oz). I am feeling large.. and exhausted after our flu battle this week. This pregnancy has been a lot rougher than my first, but I will not complain too much since no matter what it could be worse. I think mostly due to the stress of having a 3 year old. Lets start with my first ultrasound (~9weeks).. on my way out the door for my appointment I get a call from Kayla's school that I need to pick her up immediately since there has been a head lice outbreak and she was infected!! At my second ultrasound (20weeks) they have some concerns over the baby's heart so I need to see a specialist.. it all ends in a perfectly healthy heart and baby.. but two weeks of major stress!! At my third ultrasound (34wks).. I need to go alone since Chris is at home tending to Kayla who has the flu. So I am hoping that crazy pregnancy equals really really good and healthy baby!!! Time has flown by and I cannot believe that it will be only a little over a month before our new little one arrives (or maybe sooner!).
Kayla is still super excited for the baby's arrival and wanted to get a picture with the baby.. she gives the baby hugs and kisses daily and is really looking forward to being a big sister :o)
