We had a beautiful week in Cape Cod, finally some good weather!! I wish I could say the same for our health, but we still had a great time. Kayla started out vacation a little cranky with a cough that got worse and by Wednesday we brought her to urgent care to find out she had an ear infection.. her first one in over a year.. of course it happens on vacation. By the end of the week I also had a nasty cough, but despite our illnesses we manage to enjoy the daytime and the great beach weather (but had some rough nights :o)). Chris's family joined us (all 17 of them) on the vacation and Kayla really enjoyed having her cousins, grandparents and aunts and uncles around all the time. We had three houses next to each other on a dead end street. One house had a swing set which occupied the kids when we were not at the beach. I think Kayla actually like spending time up at the house better than the beach, but I think that is since she was not feeling well, by Friday she loved the beach. She was very sad to leave the "Cape Cod House" and is asking about going back. Here are a few of my favorite pics from the trip... It is sad that the vacation is over already, but we have a few more trips planned for the summer.
